Between the I-80 and the Bay

A series of parks are connected by the Bay Trail between Berkeley and Richmond. It’s along the daily commute for tens of thousands and it’s also where many come to play, relax and refresh.

Luckily the cooler morning temperatures make Freyja a little less grumpy but she still needs a muzzle to protect dogs that get too close. Her human companion says that her coat can also help insulate her from the heat.
